Mutable Realms and Themis Group Launch WishT Beta
First Phase of Beta Begins December 1, 2003

Durham, NC - December 1st, 2003 - Mutable Realms, Inc., an independent developer of massively multiplayer games, and Themis Group, an international provider of outsourcing and consulting solutions and services to the interactive entertainment industry, announced today the beginning of the highly anticipated Wish Beta.  This round of Beta is scheduled to run through the end of February, 2004, quickly scaling to 20,000 users.

"We're excited to be underway," said Marc Laukien, President of Mutable Realms. "With the help of Themis Group we plan to quickly scale this phase of Beta to reach our intended goal of 5,000 simultaneous users."

Wish defines a new category of online game, the "Ultra Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game" (UMMORPG). Unlike existing MMORPGs that confine players to a server with only a few hundred other players, Wish's highly-scalable server cluster infrastructure allows the game to support tens of thousands of simultaneous players in a single shared
world.
