Boulder, CO -- November 25, 2003 -- Jaleco Entertainmentä presents the First
Annual Massive Air Combat Event (MACE) Invitational, to be held on the company's
Fighter Ace(tm) game servers on the weekend of January 2-4, 2004. MACE will pit
the best virtual combat pilots from around the world against each other in a
weekend full of individual and team-based tournaments and historical
recreations.
In the two weeks prior to MACE, Fighter Ace Volunteer Group (FAVG) instructor
pilots will hold a variety of Air Combat training classes to help new players
become acclimated to the Fighter Ace environment. Training classes range from a
brief introduction for veterans of the genre to complete training courses for
players who have never touched a joystick before.
"Operation MACE will introduce a whole new generation of gamers to the
thrills and excitement of online aerial combat," said Producer Michael
D'Agnillo. "In addition to providing a weekend full of fun, we expect to
see the flight sim community expanded with the introduction of new players to
the genre."
New subscribers are entitled to a two-week free trial period starting
December 23, 2003. This offer includes two weeks of Air Combat training and the
weekend full of tournaments. The game client, currently at version 3.61, is
