As of August, Artix Entertainments player base exceeded 110 Million
registered users, growing at rate of 2 million new accounts per month since
April
Land OLakes, FL - September 1, 2010 - Artix Entertainment, the small,
independent game development studio that runs download-free browser-based RPGS,
today announced the breaking of yet another milestone. Five months ago, AE was
thrilled to report 100 Million registered users; today the company oversees
110,136,863 gaming accounts. The impressive player base was recruited from their
two MMOs AdventureQuest Worlds and EpicDuel and three RPGs: DragonFable,
MechQuest, and the original AdventureQuest.
We really need to release more interesting news than our user count maybe
something about our new games we are creating, the bizarre store we are about to
open, or maybe the movie project, said Adam Bohn, CEO/Paladin of Artix
Entertainment, LLC as he sipped some green tea from a blue cup sent in as a
present by a player of AQWorlds.
This Labor Day weekend, the AE Team is traveling to the fabled city of Atlanta,
Georgia to attend the East Coasts largest fantasy/sci-fi/anime/gaming
convention: DragonCon. A three-hour panel of gaming madness will be hosted by
the Team, including quiz questions with deadly-thrown prizes, random videos,
moglin punting, and a special sneak-peak at a few new things unseen by the
outside world.
Whether you are an AQWorlds addict or just eager to get your hands on free swag,
everyone of every level is invited to come out and meet the Team!
