London 11th December 2002, Simulation Technologies Ltd (Sim-Tech), announces the purchase of the massive multiplayer game, Planetarion from Fifth Season AS.

Sim-Tech is committed to the ongoing development of Planetarion, which will see many new enhancements and features added over the next few seasons. In addition Sim-Tech will seek to strengthen and support the vibrant Planetarion community and will actively encourage their input to drive future development activities.

About Planetarion

A massive multiplayer game, Planetarion is a science fiction strategy game where thousands of planets and hundreds of galaxies fight for survival and domination of the universe. Every participant in Planetarion controls their own planet, from which they gather and exploit resources to help them develop advanced technology and construct vast fleets to attack other planets.

Planetarion is played through an html interface, and does not require the download or installation of any additional software. Play progresses in real time, with the universe advancing one “tick” per hour. This ease of access combined with compulsive game play makes for a uniquely compelling experience that has seen in excess of 180,000 players at any one time.
