Skövde, Sweden (November 3, 2005) - Lockpick Entertainment
(Lockpick) today released the first In-Game Movie from their upcomming
title Dreamlords.
"We're proud to present the first movie with
actual in-game action from Dreamlords to the world" says David Rosén CEO
of Lockpick. "The movie features scenery, a couple of new units and
certain gameplay features all to be viewed while listening to our brand
new music compositions."
The Movie has been added to the
download section of the game's community site. "We have had so much fun
shooting this movie, we ended up spending quite some time just playing
the game instead but eventually we put the whole thing together and
added the music. The graphics are still somewhat rough as we still don't
have access to the shader engine but we feel confident that we even at
this stage can give the gamers what they want." says Richard Blom, Lead
Artist of Dreamlords™.
About Dreamlords™ Dreamlords™
is a Massive Multiplayer Online Real Time Strategy game (MMORTS) with a
true persistent world in which players can build their power base to
compete with each other. You can read more about the game and enjoy
downloadable materials at the game community website www.dreamlords.com
The game itself is like other MMO games, an online game only. It
will most likely be available for free download with a free initial
trial period after which there will be a monthly subscription fee. A
retail version with additional materials is planned but not yet
scheduled.
Dreamlords™ will be available for Windows®. A
Macintosh® and a Linux version might show up at a later stage depending
on the third party game engine. One of the ideas during the development
is to make sure that the players don't need the absolute top of the line
computer to play the game.
